Is KindReff replacing traditional recruiters?

No, KindReff is designed to complement existing business hiring strategies, not to replace traditional recruiters. It adds an additional stream of candidates by leveraging employee networks.


Can charities use KindReff to hire their staff?

Yes, charities can use KindReff to hire their staff. Our applicant tracking system is free for nonprofits.


What are the requirements for a charity to receive donations through KindReff?

Charities must be registered with KindReff, have a Stripe Connect account, and be active with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). KindReff nonprofit’s onboarding process is simple and user-friendly.


Is there a cost for nonprofits to use KindReff?

KindReff is free for nonprofits, and they have the option to use KindReff’s applicant tracking system at no cost if needed. If they wish to use referral incentives to hire personnel, they need to add a payment method to cover the transaction fees for successful referrals.


What happens after a nonprofit receives a donation?

After a nonprofit receives a donation through KindReff, the funds are transferred to the nonprofit’s designated account via Stripe. The nonprofit can then use the donation to support their mission and needs. Additionally, the nonprofit is required to provide a receipt for the donation, ensuring transparency and compliance.


Can a charity choose to be on the site purely as a donation recipient?

Yes, nonprofits can sign up to be on KindReff solely as donation recipients. They have the flexibility to use the platform based on their needs. Whether they require an applicant tracking system or just wish to receive donations, KindReff supports them either way.


Does KindReff charge nonprofits for donations?

No, we don’t charge nonprofits for donations. We only charge a transaction fee to the organisation that is hiring. After a successful hire is made, the donation amount is transferred from the organisation to the nonprofit recipient’s Stripe account.
