We’re delighted to announce the release of a new minor version of the KindReff webapp! This update brings a range of small but impactful improvements to enhance your experience on the platform.

What’s New in v2.1.0

Bug Fixes

KR-A009 Phone Number Error
Issue: During Stripe account setup, phone numbers required the country code (+61) to be manually added, rather than being automatically appended based on the country field.
Fix: The system now appends the country code automatically to ensure a seamless setup experience.

KR-A022 Newly Created Nonprofits Saved as Businesses
Issue: Newly created nonprofits were mistakenly being categorised as businesses in the organisations section.
Fix: This has been resolved to ensure proper categorisation of nonprofits.

KR-A008 Redirection to Stripe Setup
Issue: Referral payouts were affected due to missing redirection to the Stripe setup page.
Fix: Users are now properly guided to set up their Stripe accounts, ensuring smooth payout processes.

Improvements

KR-A016 Change Linked Text to Linked Component
Update: In the opportunities section, linked text was previously functional only for specific parts. Now, the entire component is clickable, improving accessibility and ease of use.

KR-A006 Remove Hover Feature
Update: UI buttons without active content previously had a hover effect, causing confusion. The hover effect has been removed for non-functional buttons to improve clarity.

KR-A014 Referee’s Inbox
Update: Referees now have a dedicated inbox feature within their profile, making it easier to view referrals directly without relying solely on email notifications.

New Features

KR-A024 Add a Link in Profile to Stripe Dashboard
Feature: A new link has been added to user profiles, allowing direct access to the Stripe dashboard and streamlining account management.

We’re committed to continuously improving KindReff and ensuring your experience is as positive as possible. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, so please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts with us.

Thank you for being a part of the KindReff community!
