KindReff’s Commitment to Better Recruitment

Recently, KindReff had the privilege of attending the Bendigo Bank event “Discover how Veterans can help your Business.” This insightful event featured several distinguished speakers, including Craig Delaney, Angela Green, Bill Skandalkis, and Tom Nguyen, who shared their experiences and struggles in transitioning from military to civilian life. The stories and insights shared by these veterans were both inspiring and eye-opening, underscoring the invaluable contributions they make to society and the workforce.

The Stories

Several remarkable stories were shared during the night, each highlighting the resilience and bravery of our military personnel and the challenges they face while serving our country. These experiences turn out to be highly transferable to civilian life. Veterans are problem solvers, team players, and goal-oriented individuals who can contribute significantly to society in any industry they have the opportunity to enter. However, adapting from military to civilian life has its challenges. There is hope, though, as the Veteran Employment Program is actively working to educate businesses on the value that veterans can bring to the workforce, helping them reintegrate into society. This is a testament to the strength and potential of veterans.

KindReff’s Commitment

At KindReff, we were deeply moved by the stories and achievements of these remarkable individuals. Their experiences have reinforced our commitment to improving recruitment processes and supporting veterans in their transition to civilian life. We recognize the immense potential and unique skills that veterans bring to the workforce, and we are dedicated to creating opportunities that leverage these strengths.

Inspired by the speakers at the Bendigo Bank event, KindReff is more committed than ever to making recruitment better and more inclusive. We believe that by understanding and addressing the challenges faced by veterans, we can create a more supportive and effective recruitment ecosystem.

The Bendigo Bank event was a powerful reminder of the contributions that veterans make to society. These have not only inspired us but also motivated us to take concrete steps towards better recruitment practices.
